Back To Our Roots. A Taste Of Authentic Lebanese Tradition​

The Saj Bakery was a pop up that ran in the heart of Lisbon. The aim was to introduce the Lebanese flatbread sandwich, a popular item in bakeries across Lebanon, to the Portuguese market.
It all revolved around creating authentic Lebanese vegetarian sandwiches using a traditional Saj oven. Every aspect of the sandwich making process was meticulously crafted; the dough was prepared in-house daily, ensuring freshness and quality.
Once the dough was ready, it was cooked to order ont he saw, producing warm, aromatic flatbreads that were nearly impossilbe to resist.
